Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Writence for using Copynote to draft work communication in English.
Last updated: This is a template effective date. The binding terms live in the product app.
1. Agreement to terms
By using Copynote.app or the product at app.diglot.ai, you agree to these terms. Copynote is operated by Writence. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. For the binding, in-app version of these terms, see the product app.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
Use Copynote for lawful writing and communication. Don’t use it to break the law, infringe others’ rights, attempt to disrupt the service, or generate content intended to deceive or harm someone. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
4. Your responsibility for what you send
Copynote helps you draft and rewrite text; you decide what to send. You’re responsible for reviewing generated text before sending it — for accuracy, for tone, and for whether it suits the recipient and situation. It is not a substitute for your own judgement about a business or legal communication.
5. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the documents and content you create in Copynote. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service for you — storing, processing, and displaying your content to provide the features you use. We do not use your documents to train AI models.
6. Confidentiality of your drafts
We understand that work drafts often contain client names, figures, and internal information that isn’t public. We handle your content as confidential, consistent with our privacy policy, and do not disclose it except as needed to operate the service or as required by law.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Spark and Pro) are billed on the cycle you choose, monthly or yearly. Beta members may receive founding-member pricing. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period unless stated otherwise.
8. Beta status
Copynote is in beta. Features may change, and occasional issues are part of an evolving product. We’ll communicate material changes, but the beta is provided on an evolving basis.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here. AI-assisted output may contain errors; you’re responsible for reviewing anything you send.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Writence’s liability arising from your use of Copynote is limited as described in the binding in-app terms. We’re not liable for business, professional, or personal consequences of how you choose to use the tool.
11. Termination
You can stop using Copynote at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. On termination, you can request export or deletion of your data as described in the privacy policy.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be communicated in the app. Questions? Reach us at hello@copynote.app or via the contact page.
